Customer Experience Specialist & Saalt Coach

The Challenge:

Saalt is looking for a full-time Customer Experience Specialist & Saalt Coach  to maximize every experience our customers have with our brand. Our customers are passionate about our products and our mission, and we want them to be equally passionate about every interaction they have with our people. 

We are in need of a well-polished writer who can bring delight to any interaction, an outstanding multitasker, and someone committed to giving great tips on how to find period bliss with Saalt products across a variety of customer-facing platforms.

As we look to expand our reach, we are open to all sorts of work schedules in this role. Like to work at 6 am? Great! Like to work at 10 pm, also great! We are always looking to improve our customer's experience with the Saalt Team and we can't wait to find the person that will help us do that.

What You’ll Do:

  • Become an expert in menstrual cups/discs, period underwear, reusable period care, and menstrual health (You didn’t think you were going to read that in a job description today)!
  • Monitor and respond to daily customer inquiries from ZenDesk (including email, text, chat), Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Amazon, and YouTube.
  • Facilitate discussions in our Facebook Saalt Cup Academy to support and cheerlead new Saalt users quickly and efficiently.
  • Serve as an on-call team member and support customers in the evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.
  • Provide feedback to management on how to improve products, processes and consumer information including product packaging, instruction manuals, and website copy, etc.
  • Document and track customer trends and identify ways to improve processes or content to better serve their needs.
  • Assist with managing and responding to customer reviews on e-commerce and retailer platforms.
  • Track customer complaints and investigate root causes per FDA guidelines
  • Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings.

Experience and Competencies:

  • 2 + years experience in customer service preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong in spelling and grammar
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Team player 
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to track comments and stay organized across multiple communication platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skill to solve customer issues promptly
  • Experience with customer service ticketing platforms a plus 
  • Experience using a menstrual cup/disc a plus
